If you rent out your property in Thailand, you may have to file Thai income tax returns twice a year, a mid-year and year-end tax return, according to the Thai tax law. Therefore, if you derived rental income from the lease of your property in Thailand during January through June 2020, you have to file the mid-year tax return for that year. That tax return must be filed within September 2020. Otherwise, you may be subject to the applicable penalty, fine, and surcharge.
